Whistleblowing
Meic Services Spa – Benefit Company has adopted an internal system for reporting violations, with the aim of preserving the confidentiality of the identity of the whistleblower and protecting him from possible retaliation, in compliance with European and national legislation on whistleblowing, including Legislative Decree 15 March 2023 n. 24, which transposes Directive (EU) 2019/1937 into Italian law.
In accordance with the Procedure, Meic Services Spa establishes a dedicated channel, managed by autonomous and independent entities. This channel allows whistleblowers to report behaviours, acts or omissions, including well-founded suspicions, which may constitute violations of the rules governing the activities carried out by the company.
The structures responsible for receiving and managing reports, the means of transmitting them (written, oral or through a direct meeting) and the management process are defined by the regulations, which can be consulted for further details.
To guarantee confidentiality, the use of an IT platform is envisaged.
In the event of certain conditions established by law, it is possible to make external reports directly to the National Anti-Corruption Authority (ANAC). Further information on the channel, procedures and conditions for making external reports is available in the Procedure.
