“The award is the culmination of a virtuous process that has lasted for years”, says Dr. Maurizio Melfa, owner of Meic Services S.p.A. “Occupational safety and the psychological well-being of employees only apparently represent a cost. It is rather to be understood as the best investment, because a safe and happy employee works better and allows the company to preserve itself over time and obtain the most important orders. The main players of Italian entrepreneurship have strict protocols and we must always stay one step ahead in order to operate well. Finally, in addition to the absolute first place, we are happy to be among the five companies to have received a mention: it was a celebration of the "Gelesità", since one of the other mentions went to the refinery Eni, a local giant. The photo together with Dr. Franchi, at Connext in Milan immortalizes the virtuous path of southern manufacturing excellence ".

Safety is not invented but is the result of a widespread culture of good practices to be applied every day, with the utmost attention. And in the end things went better than expected: the Award arrived, the victory at the Inail and Confindustria National Safety Award, in the same year in which the international magazine Forbes told our success story among the top 100 winning companies of the Sustainability Award. And 2022 will be an even more intense year for us, because the Innovation Award, the BIA, and an increasingly daring path towards the ESG issues of sustainability await us.
