Company finalist for the National Father to Son Business Award

Meic Services S.p.A. – Benefit Society was ranked among the finalist companies for the Father to Son Business Award, after a long selection among hundreds of virtuous companies throughout the country. Yet another great recognition for the Gela company, which confirms itself as one of the longest-standing family businesses on the island, thanks to its 36 years of family tradition, now in its third generational transition

On Wednesday 8 May 2024, in the spaces of the Alfa Romeo Museum in Arese (MI), a tangible journey into the history of excellence of the car brand that made Made in Italy great, the Awards Ceremony of the XIII Edition of From father to son Award - the taste of doing business", the initiative created in 2008 to analyze and enhance the experiences of family businesses that have successfully faced and resolved the generational transition.

The Award is created with the scientific support of LIUC Business School. Furthermore, the Family Business Lab (FABULA) of LIUC - Cattaneo University, directed by Salvatore Sciascia and Valentina Lazzarotti, has also this year made available the tools for collecting and interpreting data, which are fundamental for analyzing deeply and in the most the participating companies objectively.
